I am an  enthusiastic, intelligent and talented Artist who loves to help people with my God given talent of painting and teaching. My gift of  art and instructing has been exemplified throughout my life. With these qualities I accept commission for wall Murals and Paintings  

EDUCATION:
1999      ◙ Completed course as an Emergency Medical Technician, C.P.R. and First Aid at the Southern California Regional Occupational Center.

 
1987 Attended Long Beach state taking courses in art.
 
1983-1985   ◙ Art Certification Degree and Associate of Arts degree at El Camino College
 
1980-1983    ◙ Graduated from Bishop Montgomery Catholic High School
 

EMPLOYMENT:
2004 ◙ Contracted Art Instructor for Discovery Center in Big Bear Lake California.
     Combining the education of native plants, Indian history and techniques in charcoal drawing.  I developed a successful art program, which was designed exclusively for Nature Art Weekend at the Discovery Center.
 
2000-2003  ◙ Coordinator of events and activities for Corpus Christi Home School
      I Helped develop a home school support  group in which the children could be      involved with music, art, monthly field trips including swimming with dolphins at Sea World.  I  also taught drama and organized a colonial reenactment, a fair and a graduation dance.
 
2000  ◙ Illustrator for the Los Angles Zoo
      My  love for wildlife and art brought  me to the Los Angeles zoo. While there I researched and illustrated wild animals. My work can be viewed in front of the Pudu exhibit. 
 
1999   ◙ J.S.R. (Junior Survival and Rescue) Summer Camp Taught in Redondo Beach , CA
      With the natural desire to want to help people and with the education of Emergency Medical  Technician, I developed an exciting class for children where they learned the basic survival techniques in all emergency situations and First Aid.  The atmosphere though lots of fun was taught with discipline. The children learned First Aid, drills, hiking , rock climbing  and how to set up camp.
 
1999   ◙ Contracted Artist  chosen for "Art at Your Finger Tips" in Palos Verdes, CA  and
Artist for "Adventures in Art"  taught in Torrance, CA
       I  developed a program for children in which they  learned about the classical Artist  "Claude Monet " and  warm and cool colors through a guided project. For the thousands of children to learn this project ,  I taught seminars to groups of three hundred docents who went back into the class rooms to guide the children through the project.
 
1994-1995  ◙ Resident Artist and Scout Instructor for George F Canyon in Rolling Hills Estates
       My love for children and nature led me to develop a fun and enriching class titled "Nature Scouts."  In this class children learned to identify plants and wild life Through hikes, games, songs and crafts.  My classes and Art murals have been featured  in the Los Angeles times and the Palos Verdes News Paper.
 
1981-1992  ◙ Taught Ridding  and Horse Care Classes for the city of Redondo Beach, CA and for the City  of Moore Park, CA  through Parks and Recreation With the knowledge and skill of Horsemanship, I taught classes  on how to take care of horses and how to ride them safely. These classes were taught to both children and adults.
 
1984-1985  ◙  Art Instructor for Parks and Recreation  at Hesse Park in Palos Verdes, CA
       I  taught children and adult art classes in both drawing  and painting by teaching  various techniques to stimulate natural creative ability.  I also taught  other instructors these technique to be used.
